Paid Lesson ROI Calculator

See how a wedding package or a new private student adds up against the fee for each paid lesson.

Your inputs

After instructor pay and direct costs, before the lesson fee.

The share of paid first lessons that become a wedding package or an ongoing private student.

Some students never come back?

Your studio reschedules a cancel, a change of time, or a missed lesson. If some of those students still never enroll, use a lower rate. For example, 8 enrollments from 20 paid lessons is a 40% rate.

How it works

Use inputs from the same time period. Gross profit is what remains after instructor pay and direct costs. In percentage mode, enter your gross margin.

Use your paid-lesson-to-enrollment rate. That is the share of paid first lessons that become a wedding package or an ongoing private student. A cancel, a new time, or a missed lesson stays in the paid-lesson count while your studio reschedules it. If that student never enrolls, lower the rate. For example, 8 enrollments from 20 paid lessons is a 40% rate. Estimated enrollments can be fractional.

Estimated profit = paid lessons × enrollment rate × gross profit per enrollment − paid lessons × fee per paid lesson. ROI = estimated profit ÷ lesson fees × 100. ROI is unavailable when lesson fees are $0.
